Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and public speaking
Students can develop critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. This supports social and emotional growth within the HPGE framework. Students can also participate in local and state events to build confidence and experience.
Creative and performing arts
Creative and performance arts allow students to express themselves through music, visual arts, drama, and dance. They develop creativity, collaboration, and confidence, supporting the cognitive and social domains of HPGE. Students can participate in concerts, art shows, KROP, Tournament of the Minds, and spectacular events.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
School Sport, Carnivals and Inter-school Competitions
School sport, carnivals, and inter-school competitions offer students opportunities to develop fitness, teamwork, and school spirit. Events like athletics, cross country, and swimming, along with other sports programs, support the physical domain of HPGE and promote healthy, active lifestyles.
